Victoria Golf Course, Victoria, BC
Vancouver Island will delight the avid golfer with over 50 golf courses nestled in mountains and evergreen forest, along beaches and beside pristine lakes - it's often tough to keep your eye on the ball! The southern and eastern coastlines of the island are dotted with some of British Columbia's finest golf courses, including posh country clubs, public facilities and world-class championship courses. The diversity of settings and the sheer concentration of courses make Vancouver Island a golfer's paradise.

The island boasts a temperate year-round climate and a warmer, drier winter than the rest of Canada. When even the hardiest of BC's year-round golfers are turned away by ice and snow on the mainland, they can follow the birds to Vancouver Island, where fishing gear and golf clubs are rarely closeted. You can golf on New Year's Day on Vancouver Island - the climate lends itself to a game at almost any time of the year. Golf packages include year-round weekend getaways or individually tailored golf vacation packages.
