a huge lake that dominates the mountainous landscape north of Powell
River on the Sunshine Coast.
The southern end of the lake is only 6 km north of Powell River.
Powell Lake is one of 8 lakes that make up the Powell
Forest Canoe Route.

Additional Info: Wind caution to boaters and paddlers. Visit
the nearby Sliammon Fish Hatchery off Hwy 101. Fishing restrictions
apply - see regulations. No fishing on Powell Lake and its tributaries
from November 1 to March 31.
