O Christmas Tea: A British Comedy

If you’re a fan of Monty Python, Mr. Bean or Dr. Seuss, then this British duo coming to Victoria is serving something up that could be your cup of tea!

British Comedy legends James & Jamesy (aka Aaron Malkin and Alastair Knowles) are bringing their multi-award-winning tea-themed comedy, O Christmas Tea: A British Comedy, to the Royal Theatre on November 7 and 8.

When catastrophe strikes at James and Jamesy’s Christmas tea party and the world is suddenly flooded with tea, the duo must conjure wildly funny solutions to stay afloat. What follows is a jolly aquatic escapade brimming with whimsy, action, and ingenuity—a celebration of friendship at Christmas!

What to Expect: This uplifting, light-hearted comedy features two characters who first appear at odds: James, who believes what happens on stage is make-believe, and Jamesy, who believes that on-stage events are real and the audience does not exist. Rich in wordplay, comic physicality, and cleverly crafted interactive elements, this 3-time Impresario Award-winning show is reminiscent of classic British pantos and guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages.

Critics rave: “Complete and utter fun,” “A comedy masterpiece,” and “Full-out belly laughs all the way through!”

“At this time of year, we’re inspired to dream big and tap into our child-like imagination,” says Malkin. “O Christmas Tea is a show that brings family and friends together.”
