Adam Olsen is the interim leader of the B.C. Green Party, a member of Tsartlip First Nation, and a life-long resident of Brentwood Bay in Greater Victoria. Adam loves the Saanich Inlet and grew up fishing next to Bamberton and on the docks in Brentwood Bay.
Adam started the Saanich Inlet Network in response to the August announcement of a mutual benefits agreement and long-term lease between Steelhead LNG and Malahat First Nation for a proposed Malahat LNG project at Bamberton.
It is important for a community facing an LNG proposal to be engaged as early as possible in the process, and the Saanich Inlet Network is a way for residents of the inlet and Greater Victoria to gather together, become informed, and participate at every opportunity.
The best way to experience the amazing Saanich Inlet is from a kayak or canoe! As summer slips into the rear-view mirror, there are fewer opportunities to get out on the water, so join us this Saturday and Paddle for the Inlet!
Bring your own boat, or $10 person. Children Free.
